Compétences transférables
In addition to the methodological and technical skills specific to a particular scientific field, the doctoral and postdoctoral period offers many opportunities to develop skills that can be transferred outside the academic world and that researchers (or even employers) often overlook.
The development of such skills, known as transferable, lies at the heart of current political debate on graduate employability. Their acquisition and recognition are important for a successful transition towards a professional career outside academia.
