Youth

The long path from childhood to adolescence has always interested researchers. We explore the transitions associated with youth – entry into the workplace, identity transformations, as well as the exploration of possibilities. From an empirical perspective, we examine questions linked to choice and orientation, the passage from school to work, professional training, becoming parents, religious or dietary choices, etc. We theorize the processes of youth from a sociocultural perspective, by examining the social construction of this notion, the associated developmental processes, and what hinders or facilitates them.
