IFLC receives about 120 students from all over the world each year (from over 40 countries).

The needs of students at IFLC are very diverse:

• to study French as a Foreign Language within a Bachelor of Arts' curriculum;
• to specialize in becoming teachers of French;
• to improve their French learnt while studying in their own country (e.g. obligatory  language stays in French speaking countries);
• to participate in student mobility programmes (Erasmus-Socrates);
• to acquire a sufficient knowledge of French to study at University;
• to study French for purely personal or professional reasons.
