I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Institut de Sociologie in Neuchatel, Switzerland. I received my PhD from the University of Texas at Austin. I study informal labor in large cities of the Global South. Between 2013 and 2014, I spent one year researching the lives and politics of street vendors in São Paulo, Brazil. Je suis post-doctorant à l’Institut de Sociologie de l’Université de Neuchâtel. J’ai obtenu mon doctorat à l’Université du Texas à Austin. Mes recherches portent sur le travail informel dans les mégalopoles du Sud. J’ai réalisé mon terrain de thèse en 2013-14 à São Paulo, au Brésil, où je me suis intéressé aux stratégies de survie des vendeurs de rue ainsi qu’aux impacts de la Coupe du Monde de football.
