Urs Waelchli

Biography

Urs Wälchli is a lecturer, entrepreneur, and board member specialized in corporate and entrepreneurial finance. Urs Wälchli studied finance and economics at the Universität Bern. He is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Neuchâtel as well as a Visiting Professor / Lecturer at the Simon Business School at the University of Rochester and the London Business School (LBS). He teaches capital budgeting, corporate finance, entrepreneurial finance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, as well as international finance and risk management.

His company WSB Advice AG offers consulting services for strategic financial management along the lifecycle of firms. He also prepares expert opinions for legal cases, especially concerning valuation issues related to corporate transactions and financial products. 

Urs is also the president of the board of Inno Digital Services AG (Swiss market leader for professional audio-visual-solutions). Moreover, he is a member of the board of InnoMedica Holding AG (pharma), Gloor Pumpenbau Holding AG (pumps), and Ribag AG (real estate).
Urs is a coauthor of Handbuch der Bewertung, a standard textbook on project and firm valuation, as well as the founder of TEJU finance, an online finance platform.
