Biography
Arthur Stenzel is Assistant Professor of Accounting & Executive Director of the Ph.D. Programme in Management (PMA) at the University of St.Gallen. Prior to his position he was postdoctoral research fellow at the University of St.Gallen. He earned his doctoral degree from the University of Hohenheim in Stuttgart. He has working experience as an audit team leader and teaching experience from several lectures and seminars on various accounting topics.
His research interests are empirical research on corporate tax and private markets. More specifically, he examines the measurement of tax avoidance, the influence of taxation on corporate innovation, and the real effects of financial accounting regulation. Other research interests include data analysis of non-financial data, e.g., textual and social media data, as well as business forecasting.
