Objectives

- World cafe round to assess expectations of participants
- Brief presentations of invited speakers: what they currently study and where they see major avenues for future research
- Participant work groups with the aim to identify major research areas in subdisciplines (animal cognition, behavioural physiology, behavioural ecology, evolutionary biology)
- Joint session with ppt presentations of work groups for general discussion

Travel expenses: participants in the Neuchâtel Interuniversity doctoral program in organismal biology are eligible for reimbursement of incurred travel expenses by train (half-fare card, and 2nd class).
Please send the original tickets (no copies) with the reimbursement form to Dr. Christiane Bobillier. No reimbursement for bus, taxi or car travel expenses will be paid.

- This course is free and open to all Ph.D. students and master students, however priority is given to "Interuniversity doctoral program in organismal biology" participants until 31 December 2011.
- Master students and postdocs are welcome depending on availability.
