ANADD, with Prof. Thierry Obrist and the support of the Faculty of Law, organizes so-called “Thesisist’s Breakfasts” (le déjeuner du thésard). These meetings help doctoral students form closer links, improve their learning environment, and learn more about the subjects which their colleagues study, as well as providing opportunities to practise oral presentations, discuss research and writing methodology, and talk about research at the University of Neuchâtel’s Faculty of Law more generally.

With this in mind, nine meetings are organized each year (from 12:15 to 13:45 on Mondays). One or two doctoral students present their thesis subjects (15 minutes) and the methods applied to their research (5 minutes). A discussion follows each presentation, with everyone present able to contribute.
