The course will allow students to :
- use a range of vocabulary and grammatical structures at advanced level
- express their views on a variety of topics
- familiarise themselves with different types of text and different sets of writing conventions
- manage complex reading and listening tasks
Each session will cover a different topic and students will work individually, in pairs or take part in whole-class activities. Key grammar points will be refreshed. Speaking practice will include providing personal information and discussing topics of personal and academic / scientific interest at an advanced level.
Students will receive 3 ECTS credits for the course if they meet the following requirements: regular attendance (no more than three absences per semester), one written assignment and a passing grade in the end-of-semester test.
Please note that the recognition of these credits by the students' own Faculty depends
