You want to improve your spoken French ?
In July, the summer tandem programme – organised by the LC and the UniNE Summer course – is the ideal solution. We introduce Swiss French to English or German speakers who are spending part of their summer in Neuchâtel to learn French.
Supple, free and rewarding, a tandem programme helps you focus on listening and speaking but will also help you improve your general knowledge of the language.
You choose, with your partner, how often (2 to 3 times a week) and where you will meet, as well as what you would like to work on exactly and how. If you want to know more about what a tandem programme entails, read the information on bilingual tandem.
The most popular languages are English and German. However, registrations are open to speakers of other languages (Italian, Spanish, Farsi) with no guarantee that a partner will be found.
EMA self-study
This summer, the Espace multimedia d’auto-apprentissage (E.M.A.) is open for a few hours for tandem partners who would like to meet in a friendly place. There, you’ll find bilingual dictionaries, grammar and vocabulary books and, mostly, different games and activities to practice oral communication.
Open from Monday to Friday: 2pm - 4pm
