Guillaume Lentendu

My research is focus on terrestrial eukaryotes biogeography and macroecology.

My main project focus on island biogeography along elevation gradients, and aim to understand the main drivers of protists island endemicity and phylogeography. This project is funded by the SNF (project number 182531).

In a second project funded by the Swiss FOEN, I am developing new molecular techniques to characterize the diversity of springtails and mites in Switzerland. This work is done in collaboations with horizon a.

My last project aims at disclosing potnetial effect of warming on the soil microbial loop, particularly on heterotrophic protist impact on nutrioent cycles in forest soils.

I also develop bioinformatic tools for the analyses of eDNA HTS datasets for metabarcode based diversity assessments, tools for in-silico PCR, barcode raw data analyses, network analyses (see on github).
