Biography

Célia received an engineering degree from the Ecole Supérieur de Chimie Physique Electronique in Lyon and a Master's Degree in Organic Synthesis and Chemistry of Bioactive Molecules at the University Claude Bernard Lyon 1 in 2016. She performed a 1-year Internship at Bayer Cropscience in Frankfurt, Germany and a 6 months internship at Sanofi in Marcy l’Etoile, France.

In February 2017, she joined the laboratory for bioanalytical chemistry as a PhD candidate.

Her research project focuses on the synthesis of nematode-derived secondary metabolites and their functional characterization. Celia is particularly interested in the synthesis of heterocyclic compounds as well as medicinal chemistry.

Project: Synthesis and characterization of secondary metabolites from nematodes.
