Simone Camponovo (from October 1st)

 

Simone Camponovo joined the University of Neuchâtel as a doctoral assistant in English Literature in autumn 2024. He is currently working on his research proposal under the supervision of Prof. Emma Depledge.

Simone holds a BA degree in English, French and German language and literature (2021) and a MA degree in English and French literature (2023) from the University of Neuchâtel. Before starting his doctoral studies, he worked as a language assistant in England during the academic year 2023-2024.

His research interests include: early modern drama, poetry and prose fiction; theatre history and the advent of the Restoration actress; gender studies and feminism; food symbolism, representations of cookery and table manners.
