In the canton of Neuchâtel, children are integrated to nursery school at the age of 4 only. For younger ones, there are nurseries, daycares and other reception facilities.

Be careful, free spots are rare for babies within these facilities and waiting lists can be very long. Do not hesitate to subscribe in various facilities at the same time, waiting for a spot open up somewhere.
