Social Event

In case of sunny weather, our social event will be held at the Centre Dürrenmatt Neuchâtel (CDN) on Wednesday, September 11. Located in the house of the late painter and playwright Friedrich Dürrenmatt (1921-1990), the CDN is a cultural center and museum showing a permanent collection of Dürrenmatt’s paintings, his personal library, and temporary exhibitions. The building was remodeled by renowned Swiss architect Mario Botta before opening to the public in 2000.

The event will begin around 7h00pm and end at 10pm. Guests will enjoy a cocktail reception by high-end catering service Les 5 Sens on a vast outdoor terrace overlooking the lake (see picture).

The cocktail menu includes a selection of elaborate vegetarian and vegan snacks, a variety of cheese, as well as fine meat and fish bites. Wine will be offered by the city of Neuchatel.

Also in the program is a guided visit of the museum and library available in German, French, and English. And guests will have access to a temporary exhibition by Swiss artist Martin Disler (1949-1996).

In case of rainy weather, our social event will be held at the Ferme de Pierre-à-Bot Neuchâtel and some schuttles will bring you at the Centre Dürrenmatt Neuchâtel for the visit from 7h00pm to 9h30pm.

Please note that the number of slots for the social event is capped at 150 and slots are allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
