With thirty years in research and development at big multinational companies (Lonza, Sandoz, Novartis), Jost Harr acquired his experience in the area of crop protection. He obtained his PhD in Biology at the ETH Zurich and is cofounder of the Technology Centre in Witterswil (TZW) near Basel. Since 2000, he has been acting as a financial and development advisor for young companies, primarily start-up companies from Basel. Former Chairman of the Swiss Federal Agricultural Research Council, he is also an expert for the CTI (Swiss Confederation's Innovation Promotion Agency) in the area of life sciences.
