Endosymbiotic organelles: dynamics of mitochondria and chloroplasts - a joint course with CUSO

3-4 September 2015

A joint course with CUSO doctoral program Molecular Plant Sciences

Organizers: Felix Kessler (University of Neuchâtel), Michel Goldschmidt-Clermont (University of Geneva) and Emilie Demarsy (University of Neuchâtel)

Present and discuss recent developments in the field of chloroplasts and mitochondria: including tRNA import, organelle division, dual targeting, assembly of the photosynthetic machinery, organelle gene regulation

(Inter-)national scientists will present their cutting-edge research (Lectures)

Important new papers will be discussed in groups mentored by the scientists (Journal clubs).

Participants will present their own work at a poster session. 3 talks will be selected from the abstracts.

Social activities will provide the opportunity for networking.
