This seminar will focus on the development and function of vacuoles and plastids in plant cells. These organelles differentiate in response to environmental signals. Exciting new findings on organellar biogenesis and metabolism will be discussed.

Registration: Deadline for registration:  June 10 for posters, June 17 for attendance only.
The attendance is free of charge for members of 3ème cycle romand en biologie or NCCR Plant Survival  (Ph.D. students, post-docs and scientific collaborators). It includes lunches and coffee breaks.

For all other participants the registration cost (including lunches and coffee break) is CHF 60.00  (to be paid at the registration desk).

Dinner: A participation of CHF 20.00 (CHF 10.00 for Ph.D. students "3eme cycle romand" and "graduate programme" participants) has to be paid at the registration desk

Housing:
Participants are kindly requested to make their own arrangement at their own expenses.
A limited number of rooms has been reserved (free of charge) at the Cité Universitaire and Foyer des Sablons for Ph.D. students of the 3eme cycle romand and participants of the Doctoral Programme "Plants and their Environment". Please contact Dr Christiane Bobillier (deadline: June 10, 2007).

Ph.D. students of the 3eme cycle romand are eligible for reimbursement of incurred travel expenses on the basis of the price of public transportation (train ticket, half-fare card, and 2nd class). Please fill in this 3eme cycle romand  form (pdf document) and send it with original tickets to Mrs Christiane Bettinelli (Université de Neuchâtel, Laboratoire de Physiologie Végétale, Rue Emile-Argand 11, Case postal 158, CH-2009 Neuchâtel) not later than July 17, 2006. No reimbursement will be made past this date.
