Jana Constantin

 

Jana Constantin is a doctoral researcher currently working towards her PhD under the supervision of Professor Emma Depledge. Her research explores William Shakespeare’s depictions of sleeping characters in his plays and his broader usage of sleep imagery. Her thesis focuses on the consequences of slumber in terms of characterization, plot development, metaphor and language, and thematic issues in plays ranging from Shakespeare’s early period to his late works.

Prior to joining The Institute of English Studies at Unine in 2022, Jana held several legal and trust business related positions with various international institutions and law firms in Geneva.
